NIELIT Exam 2026 (O/A/B/C Levels): Important Dates

NIELIT exams for O/A/B/C Levels are conducted in January and July every year. For the July 2026 cycle, the NIELIT exam for O/A/B/C Levels will be conducted on July 11, 2026.

NIELIT O/A/B/C Exam Application Form Date for July 2026

The examination application form for NIELIT O/A/B/C levels for July 2026 was open from May 8, 2026 till May 25, 2026.

NIELIT O/A/B/C Level Admit Card Date 2026

NIELIT will release the O/A/B/C level July 2026 admit card in online mode before commencement of the examination. The admit card for NIELIT O/A/B/C Levels will be issued to the candidates who are admitted to the NIELIT Examination. Candidates can download their NIELIT July 2026 admit card from the official website by using their login credentials (application number and password).

NIELIT O/A/B/C level Result Date 2026

NIELIT will release the July 2026 exam results of all O, A, B, C levels on the NIELIT website in the second week of October 2026. NIELIT results 2026 will be sent as grades to the candidates as also to institutes, conducting accredited courses, from where candidates have appeared for examinations. Along with the result, successful candidates will also get the link to download the NIELIT E-certificate.

Medium of NIELIT Exam 2026

Candidates can write the answers (Descriptive Portion Only) in Hindi or English. The choice should be indicated therein. In case the choice is not given, the choice of English medium would be assumed. Question Papers however, would continue to be in English only. This medium of examination is applicable only for NIELIT ‘O’ level exam.

Important Instructions

• According to the latest NIELIT notification, candidates can submit the examination application forms for NIELIT O/A/B/C levels through online mode only along with requisite fees by online payment through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT).
• Candidate applying for NIELIT O/A/B/C exam 2026 can avail the services of Common Service Centre (CSC) for filling up of OEAF and/or Payment of the Examination Fees. The locations of CSS are available at csc.gov.in.
• Candidates have to pat a form processing fee of Rs 100/-, in addition to the requisite fees for the applied Theory/Practical modules.
• Before filling the form, candidates must go through the related instructions given at nielit.gov.in/sites/default/files/GI_OEAF.pdf.
• Candidates are advised to select their examination centre for NIELIT exams 2026 carefully while filling the examination form. No requests for change of examination centre will be entertained thereafter and rescheduling also.
• Institutes and candidates are strongly advised not to wait until the last day to submit the complete Online Examination Application Form (OEAF) along with the requisite fee payment.
• Candidates who have already created login with NIELIT may use the same user ID and Password to fill the OEAF.
• Institute authorized to conduct the courses under NIELIT have to verify candidature of the candidates who have forwarded their OEAF through them and pay the Examination fees
• using the link onlineaccr.nielit.gov.in.

The revised last date for submission of the NIELIT O/A/B/C level for July 2026 exam cycle is May 25, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete the NIELIT exam submission process within the stipulated timeline.
